Equal Parts have announced their long awaited debut release ‘Equal Parts EP’, out October 20 through Tiny Town. These four tracks are a time capsule for the group, showcasing the multifaceted dimensions of their post-punk sound.
Alongside this announcement, the band has also dropped the gripping single 'I Can't Forget About It'. Showing no regard to perfection, Equal Parts tear through this new track without fear or restraint. The rhythm section sticks together like glue, while the crunchy guitar and nostalgic trumpet duck and weave like a moray eel.
The hotly-tipped group are hard to catch live, having spent the better part of 2023 touring overseas with other projects Floodlights and CLAMM.
The limited physical release is not to be slept on - with hand numbered stickers on each cover. A 12" at 45rpm = top quality punk.

You know, this album, and particularly "Perfect World" give this sort of "your life is what you make it" kind of theme to it---all while being served with a very hip and catchy melody...personally I'm transitioning from #3 to #2 in terms of this song, and it only took 23 years! Aaron Jay Turkheimer
